NexListen Privacy Policy
NexListen is a local-first app. Your playlists stay on your device, and NextEra.One does not collect them on a server.
NexListen plays files on your device; playlists and settings stay local.
NexListen ships no advertising or analytics SDKs and sells no listening data.
NexListen plays your own files — no subscription, no catalogue.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the NexListen Android app and the public NexListen product pages operated by NextEra.One. It is written to explain how the app accesses, uses, stores and shares user data for Google Play review and for people using the app.
NexListen does not require a NextEra.One account. If that changes, this policy will be updated before account features are released.
2. Data NexListen accesses or stores on your device
NexListen accesses data only for the features users would expect from this app.

3. Data collected by NextEra.One
NextEra.One does not operate an account service, analytics backend, advertising backend or sync backend for NexListen. NexListen does not upload your playlists to NextEra.One.
The public website may receive ordinary web server request information from visitors, such as IP address, browser type and requested page, through the hosting provider used to publish these static pages. The app itself does not send your data to that website.
4. Data sharing and user-initiated transfers
NexListen does not sell personal and sensitive user data. Data can leave your device in these user-initiated cases:
- A track leaves your device only when you share it to another app yourself.
- If you install or open the app through Google Play, Google processes Play Store data under Google's policies.
5. Permissions
NexListen asks for Android permissions only when needed for its features.
- Audio / media access: find and play the music files on your device
- Notifications: show alerts you choose to receive
- Storage: keep your data in the app's own local store
6. Retention and deletion
- Your playlists remain in NexListen's local store until you delete them or clear everything.
- Local settings remain on device until you change them or uninstall the app.
- NextEra.One cannot recover deleted local data because it is not synced to a NextEra.One server.
- You can also use Android Settings > Apps > NexListen > Storage > Clear storage to remove local app data.
7. Security
NexListen relies on Android runtime permissions, Android app sandboxing and local device storage. Because NexListen does not run a cloud sync service, there is no NextEra.One server copy of your playlists. Anything you choose to share into other apps is governed by those providers' practices.
8. Children
NexListen is not directed to children. It is a general-purpose tool intended for users who are allowed to manage their own content on their Android device.
9. Changes and contact
NextEra.One may update this policy when NexListen changes how it handles data. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
